This is the story of Raine. She is a normal teen with her own stresses. Her father went on a business trip and is missing, her boyfriend's family is planning to move, she's co-captain of the swim team, her mom seems to be acting weird, and she has a HOT new neighbor she is incredibly attracted to and annoyed with all at the same time. This new neighbor is slowly changing her normal life into the very opposite of normal as she begins to notice strange, glowing marks on skin and strange super human "talents". Her life is changing and she doesn't know why or what is happening.
Okay, yes, this is cliche. Yes, this is supernatural romance. Yes, this is super popular right now and everyone is writing about it. However, that doesn't change the face that I absolutely, 100% love this stuff! :) This book was NOT a disappointment at all. I loved every second of it. I was hooked from the beginning and just couldn't put it down. I was so sad that I had adulting to do, because if I didn't then I would have finished this book yesterday. Cause, yeah, I really did start reading it yesterday. LOL! There were several typos throughout the book. Was it enough to distract me from the story line? No, not really. I was so hooked in this book that I don't think anything would have distracted me. Even with the typos, I'm giving this book FIVE stars!!! *****
This is sort of a Norse mythology meets Shadowhunters meets Vampire Academy type of feel. Only... none of that either. LOL! It's different, but the same. That makes no sense. Read the book and you'll get what I'm saying. ;) CLICK HERE!
