Amish Romance

I am actually a huge fan of Amish romance. I love romance but don't enjoy reading all the sex scenes. Amish provides the romance without all the sex. haha!

This is a book made up of four novellas.

Under the Harvest Moon by Beth Wiseman

Naomi is dealing with the death of her abusive husband while trying to raise her daughters while keeping a secret... a BIG secret. Meanwhile, she has to figure out how to keep her farm going on her own so her father hires. Naomi swears to never find love again after her first marriage was so terrible. Could the hired hand change all that?

I found this to be a very sweet story. I couldn't help but feel protective of Naomi after her evil husband treated her that way. I love Brock, the hired hand. He is awesome and I was rooting for him from the start. I have read Beth Wiseman before and am a fan. ***** Five Stars

Love and Buggy Rides by Amy Clipston

On Janie's first day of her new job as a cashier Lancaster Souvenirs and Buggy Rides she witnesses a horrible wreck between one of their buggies and a car. She rushes to help them where she meets Jonathan, the buggy driver. Janie witnessed the truth of the accident, but her father reminds her she needs to stay out of it and allow the police to do their job. When she finds Jonathan is going to be blamed for the wreck Janie must choose if she should disobey her father or let Jonathan suffer the consequences.

I think this was my favorite one of the four stories. The story was told beautifully. I have never read anything by Clipston before, but I think I may be a new fan. ***** Five Stars

A Quiet Love by Kathleen Fuller

Dinah is a total introvert. She enjoys her books and her cat and does not want to be social. She also stutters which makes it difficult for her to talk to other people. Her mother sends her off to her aunt in hopes it will help her step out of her comfort zone. She meets a young man there, Amos, who is suspected of having autism. Dinah cannot help it, but she falls in love with him and Amos falls for her, too. Their family doubts these feelings. Dinah is too shy and Amos is too simple. They just have to prove to their families that their love is enough. But, is it?

I really enjoyed this story as well. Such an adorable read of hope and love. Definitely a fan! ***** Five Stars

Mischief in the Autumn Air by Vannetta Chapman

Items at the auction house sell for way too much to the same two people. This causes suspicions to arise as Eli and Martha begin an investigation to figure out what is so important about these specific pieces of furniture. As clues turn up, they begin to realize it's more than just a simple mystery they are solving, they are also healing hearts as they go.

This one was fun and different from the other three romances as this one focused more on the mystery and less on the budding love. It was still a fun story to add in there and mixed it up a little bit. **** Four Stars.

I received this book from Book Lovers in exchange for an honest review.
