Pheobe and her best friend Marigold, who happens to be a unicorn, experience growing up together. They have to deal with bullies at school, growing up, summer camp, holidays and all sorts of other issues. Sometimes life is easier with sparkles and unicorn magic.

I think this is such a cute story. I had never heard of this series and this is book four. It can be read as a stand alone book though. I love Pheobe's character -- she is completely quirky and an average girl going through average life experiences, but so much more exciting with a unicorn as a best friend.

There are some super cute jokes in this book, too, that had me laughing out loud. I think I have a new series my 3rd grade daughter will LOVE! Christmas, here we come! :D
