Free Plane Ticket?

Just kidding!

I don't have a free plane ticket and I'm not giving one away. I'm just imagining what I'd do with one. So, if you had a plane ticket that could take you anywhere in the world (only planet Earth, y'all) where would it take you? The fact that I felt I had to add "only planet Earth" is a sign I've been watching too much Star Trek. LOL!

I know where I would go. I would get a flight to Utah. I know what you're thinking, "Utah? Why don't you go somewhere exotic?" Well, okay, if I'm completely honest, then I'd really, really, really love a trip to Ireland. I've always dreamed of going to Ireland. It's where my dad's side of the family came from. And the history! Can you imagine all the history in a place like that? The history in the States is so much younger than the history in Europe. I mean, we have Native American history, but the stuff that was built to last was in Mexico, not the US.

Oh! I have digressed. So, why Utah you asked? Well, that's because my co-author is there. We have decided it would be so much easier to finish Courage and Brawn if we actually lived near each other. So I need to get her to South Carolina or I need to get to Utah. Since I have half the number of kids as her, I think it'd be easier if I just went to Utah. Right now, we edit over the phone by reading the story out loud to each other or we email stuff back and forth with notes. *sigh* The idea of doing it in person just sounds so appealing. So, to any rich friends or family who have been thinking of gifting me a plane ticket - Utah. That's where I need to go. LOL!
